What is a Genius Weft?

A Genius Weft is a modern weft technique in which the hair is attached to a very thin, supple band. The weft is thinner and more flexible than a traditional machine weft, so it lies flat and disappears beautifully, even in finer hair. Genius Wefts are installed by an extension specialist, for example using a beaded or sew-in method.

Care and lifespan

• Wash after around 15 wears, or sooner if needed, with sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner.
• Detangle from the ends upwards, preferably with the BB Detangling Comb.
• Use a silver shampoo now and then to keep the light sections fresh.
• Styling is fine, but never above 150 °C and always with heat protection.
• Do not go to bed with wet hair, and avoid chlorine and salt water.
• Have your extensions maintained on time by your extension specialist.
